How to Give through Your Bank's Bill Payment Service

Many people receive their paychecks via direct deposit and pay the majority of their bills online.

It eliminates the need for checks, envelopes, postage and time.  Giving online, through your personal financial institution’s online bill payment service, also saves time and money! Every financial institution provides a platform for online giving. It’s simple to set up, and anytime is the perfect time to do it. Go online to your financial institution, to the secure page, and select the tab for paying bills. It will allow you to select merchant accounts. All you have to do is set up a merchant account for our church.

Next, select the amount you want to give. Then, you can select the number of times you want to give, and your giving frequency.  (Note: You can change the amount, or number of times, or frequency of your giving at any time through your financial institution.)

Once you’ve entered the information, you will be shown everything you’ve entered to make sure it’s correct before you finalize the transaction. Once you approve it, you will be set for online giving. Your financial institution will send your giving to our church, and we will record it toward your giving record just as if you had written the check yourself.
